Can you mount these safely on an outdoor, brick, ventless fireplace?

You will always need to refer to your fireplace manual for the clearances to combustibles to make sure a mantel will work with your unit. These mantels can absolutely be installed to a brick wall with a masonry/concrete anchor kit. We would also recommend using a clear water sealer for wood to protect against the elements.

Unfortunately, we do not have anything matching this depth. The standard depth for our mantel shelves overall is 8" and deeper.

I have a brick fireplace. I am looking for a Mantle shelf. The dimensions of the brick are 78 1/8" long and 8 3/4" deep. Do you offer anything in this size?

Unfortunately, we do not have any mantels that match these dimensions exactly. The best recommendation we could make would be one of our 72" mantel shelves. We do also have an option to custom build a mantel to match your r dimensions. But, this option can sometimes be cost prohibitive.

In order to mount the shelf on a stone wall, you will need plastic masonry anchors and screws. Coarse threaded 1 1/2 #6 or #8 screws work well. You can drill directly into the stone, but it is important to let the drill do the work and proceed slowly. Applying to much pressure can crack the stone.

Many wood mantels will come with a mounting board or cleat that must be affixed to the wall with masonry screws and anchors, allowing the mantel to be clipped to the board. If the mantel does not include this type of mount, a heavy duty construction adhesive can be used.
